The Veneto Tumour Registry has updated the prevalence data of the oncological pathology of the population residing in the Veneto region. 

Overall, at 1st January 2018 the residents alive who had been diagnosed with cancer, were 291,931, less than 6% of the resident population. The number of prevalent cases in males are 132,411 (5.5% of residents), while in females are 159,520 (6.4%).
